Passionate About Developing Others
After 15 successful and exciting years as an electromechanical engineer and manager in the automotive industry, I decided to leave the product development world and to turn my passion for people into my profession.
This decision has not been easy to take. It has been a long journey of self-discovery, which started right after a painful separation which tumbled many things in my life. It was a very difficult situation for me, I felt lost. I couldn’t understand why it happened to me and I started to think seriously about the meaning of life. There it was again, this good old question that has followed me all my life: Why am I here? While walking in a bookstore, a book cover caught my eye: “When consciousness awakens” was the French title of this Anthony De Mello’s book (original English title: Awareness). This was my first encounter with mindfulness... and with myself. I plunged myself into philosophy and psychology books, began to meditate, followed the 8-weeks MBSR Program developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and started to attend a few retreats, among others, a Zen retreat at Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village in the South of France and a silence retreat in the Moroccan Sahara Desert.
All these learnings and experiences gave me crucial insights about human beings of course, but most and foremost about myself: about my feelings, my thoughts and beliefs, about my values and needs, and about all aspirations I had for my personal and professional life. It was clear by then that I wanted to focus all my energy on what mattered the most to me: starting a family and helping people to develop self-awareness and self-confidence to experience inner peace, find their purpose and reach their full potential.
We must be the change we wish to see in the world

I loved this part of my manager's job: developing and motivating my team was really fulfilling to me, but it was only one aspect of the job and it was limited to the team. I wanted to reach more people, spread this type of humanistic leadership that is so dear to me; therefore, without knowing exactly where it would lead me, I decided to start a training program to become a life & business coach. It quickly became evident that I was on the right path: I had so much fun coaching people and could see a real positive impact on them. It filled me with so much energy that I knew I found my calling, my purpose in life. Althought I was still struggling with losing the financial security that my corporate job was providing me, at the end, and thanks to a 3 hours coaching session (as coachee!), I could get the clarity that I needed to follow my heart and gut, with the conviction that it was the right thing to do.... and I never regretted!
I’ve always had a happy nature. I’m authentic and enthusiastic, cheerful and humorous, attentive and empathetic. My numerous friends and my family could certainly attest it. I love to travel all around the world to meet new people and discover cultures. I really enjoy cooking for others and being in the nature, which is one very important source of energy for me. Nevertheless, and like anyone else, I’ve experienced many ups and downs in my personal and professional life. Whereas my solution-oriented and analytical mindset allowed me to solve highly complex technical issues at work, it is definitely my optimism and a mindful attitude which helped me to always bounce back after any kind of setbacks. This also was the reason why I started a trainer education in Mindful Leadership.
In my work as coach and trainer, I use this whole skill set, along with many years of experience in leadership positions, to support and accompany people and organizations who want to develop their full potential.
Our world is turning faster and faster. Globalisation and digitalisation have increased its complexity, created instability and uncertainty. In this fast-paced environment, where the pressure to be productive comes along with permanent digital distractions, it becomes more and more important to slow down, take a deep breath, and come back to the essential question: what do I really want now?
I believe that there is goodness, passion and talent in each and every person. I believe that everyone deserves to be happy at work and in his private life, to feel joy, love and belonging, and find a fulfilling role in our society. I am convinced that everyone has the resources available within himself to achieve his dream. I know that it requires effort, work and time, and perhaps some help, to learn about oneself but, based on my experience, I think this first step is required for anyone who wants to break free from undesirable believes and behaviour patterns, from old burdens carried for too many years, for anyone who wants to enjoy the magic and the beauty of the present moment and to embrace the unknown future with confidence and optimism.
Do you feel like you might need some help? I would be more than happy to support you in the process of achieving your goals and, yes why not, a life full of joy, lightness and purpose, at peace with yourself!
